Water Safety
Water Safety Courses provide training for individuals who wish to be oriented
to the aquatic environment. Water Safety and Lifeguard Training classes provide
skills and instruction to feel comfortable in the water and to enjoy the water
safely. Courses include Learn To Swim, Longfellow’s Whales Tales, Infant and
Preschool Aquatics, Lifeguard Training, and Instructor Training.
We also offer kayak and canoe courses to provide participants with the skills to
safely maneuver a boat, rescue themselves and others and to develop an awareness
of potential hazards.
