One-shot Volunteer Assignments

Please review the list to determine which projects fit your requirements for a great community service project. Many of the projects can be combined to meet the number of people in your group, their availability, interests, and skills. Some of these projects can be conducted at your site or at the Greater Cleveland Chapter Headquarters. This information is noted below under “At Your Site.” Once your group has selected a project and date, click on Sign Up and fill out the Contact Information and Group Profile form and submit the information. Project: Neighborhood Walk-Through
Description: Distribute fire safety and disaster preparedness materials within targeted neighborhoods
Time of Year: April to November
Number of Volunteers: 6-20
Length of Time: 3-4 hours
At Your Site: Yes

Project: Records Management
Description: Sorting and filing various hard copy materials
Time of Year: Monthly
Number of Volunteers: 4-6
Length of Time: 2-3 hours
At Your Site: Yes

Project: Prepare Large Mailing
Description: Assemble large bulk mailing, including newsletters, updated materials, general communications, etc.
Time of Year: Periodically
Number of Volunteers: 3-10
Length of Time: 3-4 hours
