How to Become a Red Cross Volunteer

Please follow these steps for becoming a Greater Cleveland Chapter Volunteer:

1. Register for a volunteer user account.
2. Complete the Online Volunteer Information Session (VIS).
3. Complete the Skills and Interest Survey and select your top 3 choices for volunteer positions that best fit your interest and skills.
4. Complete the following volunteer forms: Volunteer Application, Code of Conduct, Confidential Information and Intellectual Property Agreement.
5. Complete the online Background Check process.

Within approximately two weeks after you complete the requirements above, a Greater Cleveland Chapter representative will contact you.
