Earthquake in Haiti

A 7.0 magnitude earthquake devastated Haiti on the early evening of January 12th. To support the American Red Cross disaster response efforts:

  • People in our area trying to reach loved ones in Haiti are being directed to call the U.S. State Department at 1.888.407.4747
  • Financial donations are being accepted to the American Red Cross International Response Fund which provides immediate relief and long-term support through supplies and technical assistance.

Donations to the International Relief Fund can be:

  • Mailed to PO Box 37243 Washington DC 20013
  • Or by phone at 1-800-REDCROSS
  • Or on-line at www.redcross.org
  • Or text the word Haiti to 90999 to send a $10 donation. The $10 will show up on your phone bill.
